NAOMI RANZ-SCHLEIFER is a creative media producer who brings her passion for social change and storytelling to scripted, documentary, and multimedia projects. She has worked on an array of films, tv shows, and interactive projects airing on HBO, Netflix, Discovery, PBS, YouTube, and independent platforms. Recently, she produced the award-winning independent short film THE HEIRESS, co-produced the feature documentary BIRTHING JUSTICE for PBS with Women in the Room Productions, and was an associate producer on Season 4 of the Emmy-winning series SUCCESSION for HBO. 
Naomi was a member of HBO’s West Coast Production Team for SUCCESSION Season 3, THE GILDED AGE, and LOVE & DEATH and was on the producing teams for Lin-Manuel Miranda’s musical feature TICK, TICK…BOOM! for NETFLIX, and Stephen Spielberg’s WHY WE HATE, a 6-part documentary series for DISCOVERY with Jigsaw Productions. Her other projects include American Documentary | POV’s WHITENESS PROJECT: INTERSECTION OF I, which was featured at TRIBECA Storyscapes, StyleLikeU's WHAT’S UNDERNEATH PROJECT and DISPELLING BEAUTY MYTHS Series for Allure, TRYLIFE: AVANI’S STORY, and The Skin Deep's Emmy-winning series {THE AND}.
She is passionate about highlighting stories aimed at improving health and human rights, climate resiliency, food security, education, and social justice. For years she has worked with clients like the ROBERT WOOD JOHNSON FOUNDATION, highlighting community stories, and served as an advisor for PRIYA SHAKTI, which was recognized by UN Women as a champion for gender equality. 
In addition to her media work, Naomi serves as a strategic consultant for organizations dedicated to engaging individuals of all ages in critical conversations for social change. Naomi holds a Masters of Public Health from the University of Michigan and degrees in International Studies and Biology from Johns Hopkins University and actively serves on the boards of numerous nonprofit community organizations.
